How free seating works
Whether you like sitting in a fixed seat with a view of the stage or stretching out on an expansive lawn, we have a place for you.
The Seating Bowl
Come early to grab a free seat in the back half of the Seating Bowl at the Jay Pritzker Pavillion. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Great Lawn
Bring a blanket or fold-up chair to enjoy our concerts. With the help of a state-of-the-art sound system, the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus can be heard from the back of the lawn.
Harris Theatre
Some of our associated events are hosted in The Harris Theatre, an intimate and accessible venue located at the northern edge of the Millennium Park.
